Dr. Walker studied the art and science of chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College, where she earned her BS in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree as a recipient of the prestigious Pathway to Excellence award. Before that, she graduated summa cum laude with a double BA in English and Philosophy as an undergraduate at Texas State University.
Dr. Walker’s extensive background in fitness & movement informs her unique approach to chiropractic. In her youth, she competed in cross country, track, and equestrianism, and now hold 15+ years of experience as a yoga teacher, group fitness instructor, competitive powerlifter, and strength coach.
She is passionate about the life-enhancing benefits of an active lifestyle and takes great joy in every opportunity to help her patients improve their health and well-being. She is particularly enthusiastic about the positive impacts of strength training for women and holds a special certification in pre-natal & post-natal fitness coaching (CPPC).
Her mission at Healing House is to provide compassionate, evidence-based musculoskeletal care in a comfortable, unique setting. When not treating patients, she enjoys lifting weights, playing with her dogs, and reading up on the latest exercise science and chiropractic research.
